Rioters burn Thai embassy in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH -- Rioters angry at a comment by a Thai TV star set fire the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh Wednesday night.

Military police opened fire on the 1,000 mostly student protesters after broke into the complex. They were unable to preventh them from ignited a fire which severely damaged the compound.

Seoul sends envoy to N. Korea

SEOUL -- South Korean envoy Lim Dong-won Monday left for Pyongyang to help resolve the nuclear issue, officials said.

Lim will deliver a letter from South Korean President Kim Dae-jung to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il. He is also expected to meet with a number of other senior officials at Pyongyang.
