N. Korean envoy: No reason for U.S. dialogue

MOSCOW -- North Korea's ambassador to Russia said Monday that his country saw no reason to continue multilateral nuclear talks.

Ambassador Park Ui Chun said that the United States ''does not want to coexist with us'' and that Pyongyang will continue to strenghten its nuclear forces.

Thai police arrest five terror suspects

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra announced Saturday that authorities arrested five suspected terrorists in northern Chiang Mai province.

The suspects, three from Pakistan and two from Myanmar, were arrested on immigration charges but were said to have been exhibiting ''suspicious'' behavior linking them with terrorists.
