PRAYER
Dear God, our Lord and father
Forgive us, we, my sisters and brothers
Who seek you each time we gather
We are finite and of meager means
And can only do just little things
Strengthen our minds, our hearts, our being
That life may have some meaning
Be with us forever and today
Guide us in what we think, do, and say
Lift our hearts, to you we pray
Watch our step, our every way
As we walk the earth wrapped in your grace
We'll search for things not in its place
With love and care, and nowhere else
We'll gather them in your embrace
And for all that you have bestowed
For more or less that you've endowed
We give you thanks, Oh Lord above
Bless us all with your sweet love.
So that today, tomorrow and forever
There'll be no grief, no sorrow ever
You'll be here, with us together
