Hi Kim,
I don't shave the bikini area because i'm a male, but when i first started to shave down there i used shaving cream,(still burned),then i used soap, (still burned) then a lady friend of mine told me to shave dry and that worked with no more razor burn, and use a razor with the sensitive strip on it and just wet it one time.
