Talofa, I come from a small island call Aunuu. I strongly believe that Kamehameha is very connected to Samoa. I remembered in the mid 70's Palagi's and historians came to find out information about my family in Samoa. They wanted to know how we were related to Kamehameha. Unfortunately, my uncles were afraid and limited in the english language. In result, things went unknown and unpublished for all these years. My father and great uncles always talked about how we were related to Kamehameha. I thought it was crazy until I heard all the familiar names. For instance, my great uncle and my dad's brother's name is Kalakaua. My grandfather's name is kue, and have a brother name pea. My family have all Hawaiian names like Kapiolani, Manoa, and etc.. Sadly, that some of my uncles could have been 120 if they were still alive. Anyway, I tought I share that with you... Tofa soifua..
