RIGHT TO LIFE

I hear voices talking about
Talking on whether I should be around
On whether I should live or die
Believe me, it's no lie.
But I'm innocent, my hands are clean
I've never had a chance to be mean
Yet in their vanity they talk of me
On whether or not I should be.

To bring him to this world of strife.
they say,
would not be fair.
For me and for them,
too hard to bear.
But who are they to judge my life
my right to live
My right to life.

If there must be a world of strife
Then give me the chance to choose that life.
And if I must intrude on one, another,
I have nothing to say
For nature brought me to life this way
Believe my testimony, that it's true
That in this world I've much to do.
So forbid me not
My right to live
My right to life
To live my life in this world of strife.

And if I should be a victim of prey
Or an accident that occurred on some sunny day
Forgive me this error,
I beg you, I pray,
That I may live, to see my own day.
Whether it be good or bad,
don't take it away
For it is my right, my right to life
To live and die on this world of strife.
