It's easy to make latik, you'll need just one ingredient, available in Pilipino food store, called 'D'Best' fresh frozen coconut cream in orange or red and white can in the freezer shelves.
Latik (Used as topping for Pilipino dessert)
In small pan (stainless steel) bring to boil, while keep stirring with a wooden spoon, one canned coconut cream until it becomes crumbly (in bits of pieces) in golden brown or brown color.
Strain and discard the oil.
