How many times do I have to tell you goons I run programs FOR other people, like elementary schools, and athletic clubs etc...
As for what I teach, it depends on the program I'm contracted to run.
For Kung Fu, I teach a Shaolin system based in 10 empty-hand forms, that includes two 27&40 move two man sets for a total of 12 forms all togeher for adults. If it's a Kid's program, they get the first 3 levels taught in a simpler mannor with a greater emphisis on forms, and a less lethal selfdefense system that has more uproots and takedowns and less hitting and no Chin Na.
The program I am running now is a Tai Chi program. Beginners are taught fundementals and the short eight posture form from the Chao style Taiji Quan system. The next session, I tech them the body structure and begin the mechanics used in our Taiji Quan system wile introducing them to the 37 move form.
The Taiji system is comprised of
1. Eight postures form
2. Four gates done in several varieties
3. Eight gates done in several varieties
4. 64 move form
5. Intro to push hands
6. 37 move form slowly to develop the mechanics along all movements
7. 37 move form done in the powerful style
8. Combat applications to the 37 over form, advanced pushhands - I donot teach this level, but I will run study groups, or work with a training partner on it.
