One interesting thing about the Kyong Gong Sul Bope photo:
An instructor gave us a demonstration of sorts where we were sitting on the ground in a proper jump side kick position, with the kicking foot flat on the ground. THen we were told to put our foot up to our shoulder height, which of course is impossible. The fat guy then said how if you look at kim in his SulBopes picture, you'll see that his kicking foot is at shoulder height, meaning that even if you don't believe that he jumped off an 11 story building, the body position alone is impossible/miraculous. But if you take a look at the picture, you'll see that this a national who was such an expert with 18 years of his life invested in this activity, was totally misleading us. kim's foot is turned at a 45 degree angle (approximately). With the foot turned over, it is easy to be in a jump side kick position with the kicking foot at shoulder height. Also, his non-kicking foot is only PARTIALLY covering his groin (and this photo is supposed to be a picture of the heighest form known to man, combining wei gong and nei gong?).
You know its a cult when people are willing to believe not what is plain and right in front of their eyes...but what they (people like BOb Sawinski) have to say instead. even if kim is a half decent martialist, well...it's obvious that he's a pathetic teacher. How can you claim to be able to teach someone without ever meeting them? That is just plain stupid.
