Hello everyone I read the Chris Flaming post and a few things struck
me that I would like to share with you. First it would be a winning
bet that it was written by Kim and the national's. Second is how the
moo like any good con man can take an honest statement and twist it
around to lead you down his path. It is a step by step process where
you end up seeing things the way the con man wants you to. The third
thing is how the moo uses negative, as in how others are negative and
we are positive.

These two quotes come from the Chris Flaming post.

”You take something you have heard in the school and twist it around,
that just shows any educated person that you are just grasping for
anything to make your case.”

And,

'God forbid that you have children because you would be teaching them
to be closed minded and to solve their problems through negative
means instead of dealing with it.
All in all, to live by negativity is a punishment worse than death
and I am glad I am not you.'

Now read the first paragraph from the moo's home page on their web
site.

This website is intended to educate students and other interested
individuals on the meaning and value of TRADITIONAL MOO DOE (MARTIAL
ARTS). In this country, many people are confused about MARTIAL ARTS.
Some people think that MARTIAL ARTS IS simple self defense and some
think that it is exercise or simply a way to 'get in shape.' Still
others think that MARTIAL ARTS IS a sport or contest. This is
unfortunate since TRADITIONAL MARTIAL ARTS HAS far more benefits to
offer than merely this.

The first sentence starts off by stating that this web page wants to
educate you on the value of Traditional Martial Arts. This is a
plural statement saying they are going to educate you of the value of
Traditional Martial Arts. That means all Traditional Martial Arts not
just one. Next look at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th sentences. In the third
and forth sentences you will see 'martial arts is'. The first two
words 'martial arts' means all martial arts. The second word 'is'
means one. So if when you say 'martial arts' it should read, 'martial
arts are'. Now when you mean one martial art you say 'martial art
is'. The same goes for the fifth sentence. Instead of 'has' it should
be 'have). A martial art has, the martial arts have.

The moo uses this mix up of the words to gently lead you to think the
way they want you to think. Now notice in the first sentence how the
moo puts in their buzzwords, 'Traditional', and 'Mudo' in front
of 'martial arts'. But in the third and fourth sentence the moo takes
away their buzzwords 'Traditional and Moo Doe', leaving 'martial
arts'. Then the moo puts them back in for the final sentence.

The moo does this intentionally. In the first sentence you get the
meaning that they are referring to, 'all' traditional martial arts.
Not just one. At this time the moo is starting to separate themselves
from the rest of the martial art community. They did this by
separating and capitalizing 'Traditional and Moo Doe' from using
lower case and parentheses for (martial arts). Yet it still ties the
moo in with all martial arts. The moo also uses the words 'Moo Doe'
instead of the word 'Mudo' that the rest the Korean martial art
community uses. This again slightly distances them from everyone
else. Then you will also note this is also a very positive sentence.
As this web site is going to educate you in the value of martial
arts. That's a good thing, right?

To sum up the first sentence it has a positive statement with a
hidden ability to connect and disconnect with the martial arts
community. 'This website is intended to educate students and other
interested individuals on the meaning and value of Traditional Moo
Doe (martial arts)'

The moo starts off in the first sentence with a positive but they
cannot get past the second before they bring in negative however
gently. 'many people are confused' is a negative statement putting
others down because they are confused. Yes they do not say all other
martial arts because that would be to direct. Besides we know the
comeback for that one. 'No we are not the only traditional martial
art but when you find one that is better let me know, and I'll go
with you.'

To sum up the second sentence the moo brought in negative by
inferring 'martial arts is' confused. By using the singular 'is' with
martial arts, the moo's groups all other the martial arts together in
this negative statement, and separate themselves by leaving out their
buzzwords. But they did not smash down martial arts itself. They are
smashing down the other martial artist understanding of the martial
arts. So what the moo is saying is that the other martial arts cannot
be good because they confused. 'In this country, many people are
confused about martial arts.'

In the third sentence the moo is saying that the other martial artist
are limited, thus their martial art is limited. 'Some people think
that martial arts is simple self defense and some think that it is
exercise or simply a way to 'get in shape.'

Same with the forth sentence. 'Still others think that martial arts
is a sport or contest.'

Now that the moo established that the other martial arts are bad via
the artist themselves. They kept from saying martial arts are bad.
The moo then shows their compassion by not smashing these confused
people down only that they are unfortunate. The positive statement of
how martial arts are good is preceded by the 'traditional martial
arts' buzzwords in which they already have established the link in
the head of the reader, 'traditional martial arts = Traditional Moo
Doe'. 'This is unfortunate since traditional martial arts has far
more benefits to offer than merely this.'
This is an example of moo speak.

Original format from the moo:

This is the original post from Chris Flaming aka Moo Inc.

From what you are saying, it is clear that you have no spine
whatsoever. It is so funny to see people make things up and then
swear that it is the truth. Don't you guys know that life doesn't
work that way? You can lie and lie but it doesn't make it the truth.
So here is a question for you: do you think you are going somewhere
by posting garbage on the internet? Are you gaining anything valuable
at all? I think the answer is clear, weak people are the ones who
want to be seen as the strong ones. So in plain terms, no you are not
getting any better, your 'cause' is not being helped, and your
insecurity shines through when you post your trash.
I'll bet that it shows in your day to day routine how insecure you
are too. Because you are the way you are, you go throughout your day
blaming others for your misfortunes, crying that you are not
appriciated, not really practicing anything because you are too lazy,
and God forbid that you have children because you would be teaching
them to be closed minded and to solve their problems through negative
means instead of dealing with it.
All in all, to live by negativity is a punishment worse than death
and I am glad I am not you. What's worse is that you think you are
doing the right thing, talk about being confused! Living a life of
total failure is truly hell on earth--what a waste of what you have
been given.
You take something you have heard in the school and twist it around,
that just shows any educated person that you are just grasping for
anything to make your case. Yet being as weak as you are, it comes
out sounding like a whine and a cry for attention.
Here's a thought, instead of calling some instructors names, why
don't you step up to the plate and come in for a little 'sparring
practice'. We would be happy to give you some pointers!
But that's the thing with you guys, all talk and no action. You would
rather post your 'documents' on the internet then show your skills.
That's becuase you have nothing to show. Lets see your development
and lets see some demos or pictures of your skill. Oh but wait, you
don't have anything to show except a bunch of forms if you even have
that. And you know that all you can do is hide behind a computer
screan. It's because you know that you cannot handle a face to face
encounter with any higher belt that you make fun of on the internet.
