curious who taught your instructor? Chances are, it wasn't Kim most of the time. You can find out. Ever heard of Forrest Troutner? IMO, There wouldn't be a chain of schools without him- the schools were failing utterly until Kim apparently modelled his business after what Troutner was doing. Interesting, what happened to him? After all, he was Kim's first black belt. Chances are that your nationals trained under Forrest or under one of his guys.
What about Tom Kim, John's brother? Why did he leave?
