Supposedly, if you practice it slowly, in a way you were probably never shown, you'd have I'm guessing a couple hours. That's where the 14 hours comes from. But I was told its 8. Yuk Tong 6 hours. Kun Gum Quan 8 hours (mountain form > tang nang). Would be curious how long or how many movemetns are in Real Kung Fu. I could count about 130 steps Tang Nang, but where one starts / stops was always for debate amongst the pa doe.
