I thought the Chung Moo guys train strictly for health and self defense/combat and do not like generally, as a body endorse tournaments because of the tendency for tournament training and attitudes to distract from a true martial arts atomsphere and focus. Your post is a good example of that. We've all heard of the tournament hall tigers that make good punching bags in real life combat. Having seen someone who competes successfuly on the local kungfu competition circut sustain 2 seperate fractures and get thrown in the bushes by a 50 year-old guy with NO training, I think tournaments are good sport, like baseball, but I don't confuse tournament success with combat ability.
Sorry to seem so rude but why would they be afraid to enter competition... it's fun!
On the legal issues... One of those sites, I can't say with certainty whether it was yahoo or not, was actually sued for giving up names too easily in the past. But it's probably safe to say the main miscreants would have put several layers of false trails ... just in case. Because for all your bluster, they are afraid to list their schools, real styles and most other info ... showing they are afraid in real life, I wonder why?
