All I suggested was to lead people on who are intending to publish, without permission, confidential emails, and allow those people to do exactly that in order to entrap them using their own poor character. It's a classic aikido strategy. Lead your opponent so that they feel like they are forcing your will upon you until the moment they realize that you were in charge all along.
Of course, you're probably not familiar with such true martial arts principles, being a hobbyist and all.
