There you go again, ascribing negativity while displaying it yourself. In your first warriors of light post, you said:
'You obviously are missing something. Go find it.'
and in this one:
'There is still a chance to resume a humble life, and relieve yourself of the negative mindset that you have poisoning your soul.'
These are both negative viewpoints, no matter how compassionate you wish to believe you are being, you have not accepted that perhaps, just perhaps, we, flawed as we are, are less flawed than you, are more in the light than you.
The truth is, we are acting against what we consider to be corruption, and we are reaching those who we believe have been fooled into taking part in that corruption because that's the only path they believe will make them the warriors they want to be. We are building contacts among each other, and we respect the disipline of all involved, but we will not turn a blind eye any more, we know that the schools are selling snake oil, and we know that they should be better than that, and we know whose snake oil the schools are selling.
Unlike you, I know why I am on here. I have clear goals, and I am decisive. I act against those who take a fine dream, and turn it into a banal reality. If you are an instructor, then your flag is a man who cannot fly, and you cannot prove otherwise. If you are an instructor, then your banner is a flying side kick called something it is not, and you have no knowledge that it is otherwise. If you are an instructor, you follow a man who is not a warrior, much less one for light.
Next time you're in class, look at those you most admire, or who have the greatest potential in the line, and ask yourself what you would do if you found out the man at the head of the line was not their equal. Would you protect the head at detriment of moo doe? Would you remove the head, from within the organization or without, for the benefit of moo doe? Or would you protect the lie, and allow your students to believe it when you no longer can? And weren't you really protecting the lie before, when you allowed your faith in the leader you did not truly know to be a rallying point, a point of credibility for the leader, even though you knew nothing about him but what you were told by people with a vested interest in the monetary side of the leader's organization?
Others before you have faced this quandary. The men who built the moo. Most have decided not to support him. Most have trained in other systems, or felt that his restructuring of the system was for personal gain. The few who do support him include one who distributes tapes of men in the exhaustion phase of a workout and compares them to himself doing the same forms fresh, because those men dared venture out on their own, and because that man decided on that day that being a backstabbing snipe was preferrable to being a man. And another, a temperamental man who stupidly claimed he would kill for the leader, who has repeatedly shown that his temper is not under his control, who has punished students for liking a teacher who left the system more than those students liked him. Then there's one who is hardly allowed to speak to students. Past that, there's others, but few with such close contact over the years with the grandmaster, and yet, despite all that contact, they behave in these ways. Does that not raise questions about the grandmaster?
Do you, as an aspiring warrior of light, stand first and foremost for moo doe, or for J. Kim? And which moo doe, the one he taught first, or the one he taught later, saying everyone had learned wrong before, or the one after prison, the one that was supposedly so much better than the one passed down before? And if the version before was so weak, and if having schools is the hallmark of the system's quality, then why were there so many more schools under the older system, when everyone knows the old days were harder?
I'm sorry, is the light too bright in here? Would you prefer more shade?
