Well, I practice because I want to be a better martial artist and fighter, and because martial arts intrigues me. I'm not saying that I want to learn from Grandmaster. It doesn't really drive me. What I am saying is that my instructors always talk about the line to Grandmaster and how important it is that we have an opportunity to learn from such a living fountain of knowledge. And if that person is really unable to do the things he claims to do, then the line isn't worth all that much. Yes, I have gained some things from training, but I've lost others. I went to the gym the other day (first time in 2 years), and noticed that my strength is now where near where it used to be. My instructors told me that I'd be better off training things like Palgae and holding the positions, so I have. Now I wonder whether or not they are right or not. Anyway, I don't think I've gained super-human abilities (not yet, anyway), but I'm still training. I'd rather see it through than just quit.
