Here is the questions I asked him.
I am sorry in advance if my questions seem to be offensive, it is not my reason for asking. A friend asked me to check out a martial art school with him. It was a 0om Yung Doe school. I think he asked because I am Korean but I really do not know much about martial arts but my father and grandfather have both trained for alot of years.
After I looked at the school we went to my parents home and asked my father and grandfather what they thought. I thought it seemed good. They didnt know what school I was talking about so I showed it to them on the internet. after looking for a while they both told me it was not a real martial arts from Korea and told me that it was very popular for Korean people new to America to open schools because it was easy to make some money. My grandfather, who grew up a lot in China before the occupation ended, said it was not true. He thinks it was made up by your master. My grand father also said that there was no big tournament that many people in all of China Korea and Japan would know about in that time and the name of the town was not a Korean town.
My grand father also said if there where no Korean instructors it was strange if it was from a famous master because Korean parents would recognize him a send their children to learn from him for all of these years.
Why are these things? They said some other things too but I will ask only some questions each time.
