You can also look at the physics involved with the movement itself. For example, form a structural integrity aspect, the Moo system is unbalanced and akward with poor rooting and body alignment. The source of knwoledge is irrelevent, as you can comper their body structure and mechanics side by side with say, mine, and clearly see which is correct by observing the results when you issue power. All you have to do is spend some time learning to maintain the propper structure so you can compare it.
Those of us that have done that, and have observed that perticular structure used over and over again by countless Chinese exponents, and even NON Chinese exponents like Boxers and Muy Thai fighters know it is correct. In our own practice, we have discoverd WHY the traditional Chinese structure is correct, and also WHY they Kim method is not.
In other words, we can speak from our own observations. We don't need to have any sort of connection to a mystical Grand Master in order to make a judgement. Give me any OYD student, and a punching bag for an hour, and I can demonstright the differences, at least enough so the student can see what the Mooo teaches is wrong.
