Your previous post had no more substantial issues. You accused me of not knowing any doctors with an emphasis in physical therapy,
which is conjecture. You stated that the AMA and the doctor didn't care about my opinion, which is irrelevant to the comments I made,
which is that the improvements are not miraculous.
KC:Most doctors I know don't really know that much about physical therapy, as they have specialized in something else.
PH:Reply- That's nice. From your other posts it seems very likely that most doctors you know or come in contact with most have specialized
in something besides physical therapy.
Accusation? Hardly. More like an agreement that most of the doctors you know specialize in something other than physical therapy.
You also mentioned that I don't know more about cmq or kung fu than the reporter who wrote that article, which is not the case. I hold a
first degree in CMQ and have far more credentials in kung fu. CMQ, while borrowed from kung fu, is not 1500 years old, and is not
really a chinese art. What credentials do you have to dispute that?
OK everybody else is wrong and your right. Dr. Massey, the journalist that wrote the article and whoever has told them it's chinese
doesn't really know as much about chung moo quan as you think you do. Funny most people would believe any OYD instructor be fore
they would you. And with you still trying to develop your abilities in fighting it may be awhile before you prove them wrong, if ever.
You're right on that one. I should have used don't instead of doesn't. I was pointing out that collectivey or in the case of Dr Massey singularly, it's not very likely you know more about OYD than them or him, respectively.
Open challenges are not, by any means, my invention. I will accept any cmq practitioner who comes out here to challenge, and if they are
respectful, I will be the same. Most of those who said they would take the challenge behaved like morons, and I treated them thus.
Again here perhaps I was wrong, .......
XIV.
Challenges are never to be delivered at night, unless the party to be challenged intends leaving the place of offence before morning, for it
is desirable to avoid all hot-headed proceedings.
XV.
The challenged has the right to choose his own weapons unless the challenger gives his honour he is no swordsman, after which,
however, he cannot decline any second species of weapon proposed by the challenged.
XVI.
The challenged chooses his ground, the challenger chooses his distance, the seconds fix the time and terms of firing.
As for the emphasis I place on fighting skill, it is MARTIAL arts, and the moment you lose the martial or place greater emphasis upon
another part of it, then you should not comment on the self-defensive merits of your system, at least not in any way that gives the
impression that you are an expert. Fighting is a skill, and if you do not use this skill, then you lose it. Now, if you are too old to fight, you
can still train others, but you should not deprive them of the importance of emphasizing the martial aspect of it, provided they are
students who wish to be able to use their martial arts to fight.
Doh! You just sound like an idiot.
