I started Tai Tzu in 1998. For those of you ignoprant of it's history, the style was taught to the Shaolin Temple in the 960's AD It was a MAJOR component of Shaolin Temple Kung Fu from the early Sung dyansty thorugh the late Ming dynasty. Although my Tai tzu is mostly the Shaolin branch, I have been exposed to both the line preserved originally by the Imperial Guards, and by the direct family desendants of the Sung dynastie's Imperial family itself.
The best way to look at it would be to say that I chose to specialise in the Tai Tzu branch of Shaolin Temple Kung Fu. You can go to Shaolin Temple today, show them my first Northern form, and they WILL instantly recognise it as the old version of the Sung Tai Tzu 32 move form. Try that with ANYTHING Kim taught you......go ahead, I dare you.
I say ''Old' form, because what I do is NOT the version of the form commonly seen for sale in the comercial videos. The form I do is the closed door version of that set, with a number of corrections and added movements blatently absent from the commercial version sold on tape (See my site if your interested in buying it, www.royaldragonusa.net). I am fairly proficient with the general public version as well. The public version is the one sometimes seen (rarely outside of Shaolin Temple/Denfeng) in public copmpetions.
Aside from the external set, I also have the keys to the INTERNAL performance of that set. It's an extremely closed door level of the form, and I had to court a specific master for 4 years before I was taught the internal aspect of it. I'm not very proficient with it internally.........yet, but I know for a FACT I'm the only one in the US who knows it to that level.
So, you can say what you want, make all the accusation you wish, but ''I'' know that what I have IS what Kim promised. I have it for real, no lies, no BS, and no cons, anyone can do the research I have and confirm the authenticity of the material.
I have the forms (Hard and soft), the applications, the external as well as the internal, the Qigong, weapons and special sets. I'm still missing a few things here and there, but I am confident in a few years I'll have a complete system (Abit created form several lineages)
What does Kim have? His Hard form is hardly the ''Royal style'', it's common Kong Su Do. The Ngo Chor Guys at least have the Southern Hard Imperial style. If you want to get in the ballpark at5least, go buy all the Ngo Chor videos you can get a hold of. You'll be a FAR cry closer to the real Imperial style than Kim can get you.
His ''Kung Fu'' is nothing like the actual Northern Tai Tzu at all. In fact, it does not resemble ANY authentic Chinese (or otherwise) Kung Fu system, let alone an authentic Royal style.
His Bagua is the closest thing, and it's complete Horse Shit. I challenge anyone from OYD to go Challenge a real Bagua master and see how long you last. Heck, if your to unsure of yourself, go challenge one of their 5 year students (or any student on the same time and experiance as you) Trust me, you will find Kim's Bagaua is a complete fraud too.
So you guys go rigth ahead and question the authenticity of what I do, I'm laughing at you for the fools you are, because ''I'' have what you were promised, and you have a style and a blod faced lie that is worth less than dirt.
