Probably not. There are many more important considerations in the Chicagoland area than effectiveness or value of training that a martial art must pass before it can be taught in the area. The people of Chcago have consistently voted against effective self defense, supporting legislators and government executives who seek to disarm law abiding citizens and persecute true martial arts from their area. This dumbing down is probalbly for the best given the overall inferior genetic stock of the humans that reside in the area.
