spirit of martial arts is to be great warrior a man of honor martial arts is about self discipline, self control, self esteem, and then self defense, there are many things in honor there is loyalty, respect, caring, kindness, helping, teaching, patience, love, peace of mind, and peace of soul or heart.martial arts is not for money and should never be for money ,but sometimes they do do that to try to put loyalty in you by making you pay so much you would want to stay more and learn what you have paid for.I have studied eight japanese ,two chinese, and now learning six korean styles in martial arts I am trained to be master instructor and kumite fighter but i would not fight kumite except maybe to test my skill but i have won other fights.think carefully about this.
