If you are a member of the martial art community, and have participated in the degradation of the quality of your own martial art identity or the quality of the martial art community through the use of multiple martial art names and the mixing of techniques, or through actions such as the creation of false titles, ranks, and certifications

::Nice, but what about pure traditionalists who come from systems that have no rank? Now lets say they decide to open a comercial school and it is nessasary for the institution of rank for buisness purposes? The what? Should the owner award himself a Black sash? I know of tow people who are either facing this right now, or have in the past. Both chose to institue a colored sahs system and issue themselvs a Black sash or higher depending on how they set the curriculem up.

I don't get this mixing of martial arts names thing, what if the teacher, teaches more than one style? Lets say he teaches Northern Mantis, and then once his students are proficient in that he moves to Hsing I or Bagua? It is a traditional thing to do, is that mixing names in your eyes?

Quality is best maintined by open competition with few rules, not by governing bodies ruling with an iron fist
