Jesus is the only begotten son of God.

The usage of the word 'sons and daughters of God' is figurative (in my understanding). We're referenced to being the children of Christ as well as the son of Christ, and the children of God. It's the same type of deal as an older person taking on a parenting role to a younger person, or of two people calling each other 'brother'. We are not, literally, the sons and daughters of God, though we are created in His image (soul) and wouldn't exist without Him.

In Hebrews 1, and this is just one of many passages like this, it is written that God spoke:
[7] In speaking of the angels he says, 'He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.' [8] But about the Son he says, 'Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. [9] You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness, therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.'
