A warrior is one trying to achieve the stature of a myth. The 'Way of the Warrior' represents a being living in the midst of everday society, is a myth of our time. Not because warriors or men and women of knowledge do not have a concrete existence--in reality they do. Rather this myth serves the same function as all the others: to reflect our most worthy and dignified aspirations as mortals, inviting us to turn them into reality.
In our apparent reality to become a full time warrior everyday is absurd because of the amount of energy it takes to sustain such a stature. Just living a everyday life of an average person consumes 90% of our available energy. So, the key here is to conserve energy by eradicating certain behaviors that are not necessary which utilize large amounts of energy. This saved up energy will then allow one to perform as a warrior. etting one closer to the unattainable stature of a myth. To strive for something that is considered impossible creates a reality of a infinite succession of awareness and energy. Truly, one of the aspirations of a conscious mortal.
Peace.
