This will be a short one, as it is essentially the same as the previous defficiencies of dedogi poSts, except now examining the second application.

On the second application, the first part of the circle blocks a punch, and the second blocks and grabs a kick.

Again, the problem begins with the punch defense. The dedogi practitioner gives power to the attacker that is guided by the moo to his or her own head.

Why would an attacker kick instead of using this energy? Should one train with the idea of defending against foolish attackers, who choose higher risk attacks when the defender opens themselves to lower risk attacks and seals themselves off from further defense by crossing their own center line? Clearly no.

For the same reasons the previous application was flawed, so too is this application.

The first two dedogi applications are intrinsically flawed, and thiese flaws are systematized and implemented into the training of the students at the school. The third, while less flawed, still has serious defficiencies. However, at least on the next application, the moo has stopped guiding his or her opponent's attacks toward his or her own head.

NEXT INSTALLMENT-'Am I blocking my face, no I'm crane blocking a kick, no, never mind, could we try that again?'
