My understanding is that there are 2 or 3 peoples that are considered a race: Negroid the first race, Caucasoid and some therorist argue if the Mongoloids should be classified as a race. My feeling is that if you have curly hair of any sort than and dark skin then you have to be a descendant of Africa, right? Example, Samoans, and most of the Polynesian peoples. One could also argue that peoples with melanin in their skin are from african descent, no? One could also argue that if the African was the first man on earth then all other humans are descendants of Africa. The Sicilian people who were conquered by the Moors have African blood running through them. It is obvious with the 'nappy' hair that I seen some Sicilians with. Also, the Italians of lower Italy with their olive skin are close to Sicily but the Northern Italians lack the melanin and skin color.
