This is the biggest bull shiett of 'Polynesian' history I've ever read or heard of. Probably Maui is another typical Samoan making this shiett up. First of all, our ancestors from so-called ' Polynesia ' don't even know what Polynesia is, therefore discrediting this bull bullcaca theory of what's a true or pure Polynesian. Second there's a mixture of island groups which may give one point to your theory that Tonga is mixed Fijian and Samoan. But outright say that Samoan is a pure 'Polynesian' blood/race is bologne and very ignorant. Who's to say what a true Polynesian is. Polynesia : means many islands in oceania, that's all. So it has no value to be attached to one's culture/identity/race/nationality. It's a word that was created by anthropologists who were white, most likely looked at us,' Islanders ', I'd rather say, as inferior savages, and totally had no clue or idea who we are as Tongan/Samoan/Fijians really were. 'Polynesia' is another label just like how they call African Americans ' Black '. It's a term that's probably not even 200 years old yet. So to call us Polynesian, is to throw away our true identity of our Ancestors. There is no such thing as Polynesian , Melanesian, or Micronesian. Don't insult yourself by identifying away from your own individual island race by calling yourself by a white man's label POLYNESIAN. I know, we all got use to it, so it's coo to have POLY pride. But don't ever get have yourself mislead to what a true pure Polynesian or Melanesian or MIcronesian because bloodwise, culturewise, there is no such thing. Because when it comes all down to it and if you really want to know who we are by blood, we all mixed. Nothing pure blooded about us islanders because the mother races of the world are AFRICA, ASIA, and EUROPE. Now you choose, which mix you are now. I'm out. Islander PRIDE all da way!! Tonga/Samoa!!!
