I was actally looking for the posts that show the questions you asked question to Chris D, Jarrod B and Jerry B.
As far as your questions are concered, my answers are:
1- No, I never met him.
2- No, I never aked.
3- Yes, my instructor without being asked, has stated he has never seen it personally.
