As far as a name is concerned. From what I can see there are many people posting as many people. One doesn't really know who they are communicating with unless one knows the style of writing of other particular posters. It's ridiculous.
Kung Fu? I had read a story in a Kung Fu magazine years b4 I got involved in martial arts. It goes something like this.
From what I can recall a young man was interested in learning Kung Fu. So, he thought the best way to learn would be to go to a temple where monk's train for life.
He went and waited for the monk's to come out and clean the court yard. He then approached them about the possibility to be taught Kung Fu.
One of the monk's mentioned that if he cleaned the courtyard daily he then would teach him Kung Fu. In the mean time pick up a stick and grasp the stick with your hands then slide the hands up and down the length of the stick..
Doing this for months the young man thought he was not getting the instruction he was looking for. So of course he complained. The monk said be patient and you will understand.
Months go by and again the young man felt he was taken advantaged of by the monk's to clean the courtyard.
Until oneday the young man got into a situation in town where he had to defend himself. Of course he was scared because he had no training of selfdefense. So, his natural reaction to a punch coming at him was to grab the arm with his hands and rub up and down the length of the assailants arm tearing off the skin nearly down to the bone. Realizing at that point he was instructed in the art of Kung Fu.
So, what does Kung Fu mean to you?
