i definitely agree that there is more security in a belief in god
especially when following a widely accepted and well outlined plan
if there weren't a thousand pitfalls in my mind i would beleive as you do
as far as 'the way, the truth, and the light'
you are assuming that i look at it in terms of a path to god
maybe i think that it's about building your spirit
and jesus outlined a way to build your spirit
the spirit you build now is what will remain
it will be your afterlife
in this way god is just pure knowledge
the ultimate teacher
and jesus caught a bigger glimpse than most
not a very man-like diety that has created us to crawl back through the maze to him
why would a perfect god demand adoration
but i don't know - see what i mean about the doubt
please tell me your thoughts on: assuming that jesus is god and therefor infallible and incapable of sin, how was he tempted - what relevence does someone incapable of sin being tempted have to humans

do you consider yourself the son of god
