That's fine. However, irrespective of my perspective(,)) the form involves disconnection of the defending arm from the body. Even if the defending arm does a grab, it provides the attacker with the leverage necessary to use that defense as a defense against the chung, or whatever attack you might follow up with. Pretending you know it to be otherwise does not make it so.
At the same time, I have nothing against you enjoying that form. There was a time I enjoyed it. However, it develops bad habits for self defense, i.e. following/pushing the opponent's limbs around, as opposed to neutralizing. And again, posturing as though you know it to be otherwise does not make it otherwise.
