The recent discussion list sponsored by Harper Collins on the Martin Bernal-Mary Lefkowitz debate brought the issue of Afrocentrism to the fore as never before on the Internet. The purpose of this webpage is to provide resources to those interested in learning about the Afrocentric argument concerning ancient Egypt, and the contributionof Africa to Western civilization through ancient Egypt.

Much of the material presented here will be taken from the debate itself. No corrections have been made for spelling errors in the messages even if you convert pdf to word. I would like to thank all those who participated for providing much stimulating discussion.

I would especially like to thank Dr. Gloria Emeagwali, Dr. Ray Winbush, Dr. S.F. Thomas and others, including those who wish to remain anonymous who have helped in developing and updating this site.

Sincerely,

Paul Kekai Manansala
