KC! I'd be happy to help with your examination. I can include current movements as well. I'll have to search for it, but somewhere I have a hard copy of the Moo Curiculum (up through 2001) that includes all the way to SIXTH DEGREE! If anyone's interested, I'll be happy to type it in. There's not a lot going on after 2nd Degree in the curriculum. I was amazed that they actually printed it out. I think my higher belts only meant to give me the 2nd degree curiculum, but screwed up, and gave me the whole thing!
At any rate, I've been practicing a lot of snake creeps down lately, and it's amazing what it can do for your hips. They fill stressed and stretched, but not torn up. I'm so happy to have learned a useful hip stretching form.
Incidentally, I've been thinking about Ii Ee Sam Su (1-2-3 Kick). Do you have that form? It's another one that blocks in front of the face and then continues the block all the way through down to the bottom, thus accelerating the attacker through their motion (or at best, bringing their attack into your blocking body). I can only think that these forms are meant to be done in a hard style so that they (the moo) are assuming that the blockers arm will be thrown away from the body and take them off balance. Their self-defenses are defently meant to only occur once (e.g., they win the fight after only one punch). Seems a little far fetched, but that's their philoslphy - one defense, one destruction.
