hello
i hope you don't think that my purpose is to get your goat
i just want to hear what you have to say on a few topics as i find religious beliefs to be very interesting
with regards to miracles
it seems as if indirectly you are saying that part of what constitutes a miracle is the perception of one who witnesses the event
one could take that view and say that there are just as many miracles today as there were in the past and that it is simply due to the current lack of faith of the witnesses that events are not seen as miracles
or one could say that there weren't miracles in biblical times either and that it was just the inclination of witnesses then to chalk up the cause of events to divinity
i like your john kim example because the moo could and does take a stance within this line of thought
'john kim doesn't have to prove anything to you - you are just close minded'
as far as god creating evil
i think you have explained why
but not really touched on how he could create it if it were not in his realm of possibilities
how could you get iron from a rock if there was not iron ore in it
