Thanks for your input. I was really genuinely asking why the obsession with fighting. Your answer makes sense.
I still really enjoy 0YD and will stay with the training as I feel I have benefitted from it. They (my higher belts)always tell me to get the more rounded picture before making decisions as I tend to jump on the negative bandwagon. I enjoy what I see here because although I don't believe a lot of it to be true I know all of you firmly believe the truth in what you are stating and therefore it gives me a better perspective as to what it out there for me to deal with.
I plan to train and teach and help others in the same ways in which I have been guided. I will do this without feeling hippocritical in the same way that you post your negative and do not feel hippocritical. It is all in the perspective and what you or I believe to be true and therefore righteous.
Keep posting the intelligent comments and criticisms such as the dedogi string, it may actually in fact be valid and in that case I will use it to loosen my hips and stick to the true basics if ever assaulted.
